- Are you fascinated by architectural design? Do you enjoy thinking about the function and perception of space?
- In this pre-university camp, you will learn about the field of Architecture. Through designing and creating a 3D CAD model of your building for a design bid, you will get a taste of what architects do in their jobs to see if it is the right fit for you.
- Through this experience, you will develop a deeper understanding of the field of architecture and the different career options available. You will gain a better understanding of the day-to-day work architects engage in, and develop new skills along the way!
- Skills Developed: Communication skills, project management skills, analysis skills, presentation skills, critical thinking skills.
- Camp Format: This camp will take place once per day for five days, Monday-Friday, for one week, beginning on the day selected. Each camp meeting will be 75 minutes. All camps will be taught by an instructor who comes from Harvard, Yale, MIT, and other similar institutions. Recommended for ages 14-18. Camps will have 1-6 students.
